Icono de la Semana: Jeff Beyer

Desde que estoy viviendo en Inglaterra, he conocido a gente muy interesante. Así que de ahora en adelante estaré posteando íconos de gente de muchas partes del mundo, con estilos muy diferentes y con perfiles totalmente distintos. Aquí va el primero:
Jeff creció en Niagara Falls, Canadá y ha vivido los últimos 7 años en Ottawa. Le encanta viajar y siempre que va a un lugar nuevo hace una parada en un restaurante local. Está convencido de que la comida representa la cultura de un país. Es pésimo hablando otro idioma que no sea el inglés, siempre que conoce a alguien que habla más de un idioma se siente impresionado. Se convirtió en vegetariano el año pasado porque se dio cuenta que si no puede ser testigo de todo el proceso por el que pasa un platillo que se va comer (por ejemplo la parte de matar a un animal), entonces probablemente no debería comerlo. En cambio, comer verduras no le causa conflicto, de hecho se siente bien cuando una verdura es cosechada. Le gusta ver como truenan los hielos cuando caen en un vaso de agua. Hace poco estaba en búsqueda de unos zapatos originales y compró unos con cierre y estoperoles, los cuales ahora están rotos y manchados y se les mete el agua de lluvia (pero igual se los pone). No puede reconocer a ninguna celebridad, hace poco preguntó quien era Angelina Jolie (aunque si puede reconocer perfecto a Brad Pitt…). Aquí les dejamos fotos de este ambientalista buena gente. =)

Jeff was raised in Niagara Falls, Canada, and has lived for the past 7 years in Ottawa. He loves travelling, and insists on eating a delicious dinner in some local restaurant in every country he visits because he thinks culture is well represented in food. He's terrible at speaking any language except for English and when he runs into somebody who can speak more than two languages he is simultaneously astounded at their ability and embarrassed by his lack thereof. He became a vegetarian last year, largely because of the environmental impact of raising animals, but also because he felt like if he couldn't watch every step of his meal preparation (like the killing part) then he probably shouldn't be eating it. He feels neutral about watching vegetables get harvested (he might even feel a little good...) He likes watching ice cubes crack when he pours a drink into a glass of ice. Recently, he was looking for a new pair of shoes, but was so tired of getting regular shoes with regular laces - regular shoes seemed so tedious. Finally, he found some hot shoes with zippers and buckles and feel happy now when he wears them (the soles are cracked now, so the rain leaks in and they're stained from spilling drinks on them). He also can't identify any celebrities; He recently pointed to a picture of Angelina Jolie on a magazine and honestly asked "Who's that?", he can recognize Brad Pitt though.
