Sofia Sacal es nuestro icono de la semana. Estudia sexto semestre de Diseño de Moda y Textil en Centro. Le encanta la moda y cree que es la forma de expresión más cotidiana, ya que todas las personas se visten para tratar de transmitir un mensaje al mundo. Sofia quiere combinar sus dos pasiones: la moda y la fotografía, y a partir de ello explotar su creatividad. Le gustaría coordinar photoshoots, trabajar en una editorial, en “styling” independiente o para pasarelas. El amor de su vida es la música: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Oasis, Lady Gaga, Florence and the Machine, The Temper Trap, etc. Vive para la música y si es en vivo, más. Cree firmemente en que todos podemos cambiar el mundo. A sus escasos 20 años siente que cada persona tiene el potencial para aportar algo valioso y lograr que nuestra sociedad sea un lugar más armonioso. Su sueño es trabajar con refugiados en algún lugar de África. Le angustia la pobreza, la muerte y las enfermedades prevenibles. Ama a Jeff Koons, Anish Kapoor, Damien Hirst, Takashi Murakami, Jean Basquiat y a Olafur Eliasson. Su lugar favorito en el mundo es el MoMA. No tiene un estilo definido, se considera como una mezcla de todo lo que ve. Sofia Sacal is our icon of the week. She is a Fashion and Textile Design student at Centro. She loves fashion and believes it is an everyday form of personal expression used by everyone to convey a message to the world. Sofia wants to combine fashion and photography, her two passions, in order to expand her creativity. She would like to coordinate photoshoots, work for a magazine, do independent "styling" or runway styling. She considers music is the love of her. She loves The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Oasis, Lady Gaga, Florence and the Machine, The Temper Trap, etc. She lives for music, particularly “live” music. She believes that everyone can change the world. She believes that every person has the potential to provide something valuable that can make our society a more harmonious place. Her dream is to work with refugees somewhere in Africa. She feels anxious when thinking about poverty, death and preventable diseases. She adores Jeff Koons, Anish Kapoor, Damien Hirst, Takashi Murakami, Olafur Eliasson and Jean Basquiat. Her favorite place in the world is the MoMA. She doesn’t have a definite style, she considers her style as a mixture of a lot of concepts. She loves to experiment and have fun with her looks, using ordinary pieces and parts.
