Icono de la Semana: Anne de la Parra

Anne nació en México, DF en 1990 y ahora vive en Milán. Hace poco se graduó de la carrera en diseño de moda y textil en el Istituto Marangoni de Milán. Su colección final se llamó “Life is a Mirror, Anne se inspiró en el mundo de la reflexión, tomando como elemento esencial el espejo. La colección tuvo gran aceptación en Italia, y ya ha aparecido en varias revistas. Después de Marangoni le quedaron ganas de trabajar más en la parte de imágen de la moda, especialmente en maquillaje y "fashion hair styling". Para Anne, trabajar en el set, crear la imagen de un concepto y entender la inspiración detrás es esencial para fomentar su creatividad. Crear peinados es "mi forma de crear esculturas" y el maquillaje es su "manera de pintar un cuadro". Por ahora está haciendo freelance y colaborando con fotógrafos y stylists, y poco a poco se está dando a conocer. Su meta es trabajar hasta tener un buen book y después formar parte de alguna de las grandes agencias o editoriales. Le gustaría regresar a México eventualmente para abrir un estudio de imágen o tal vez abrir una "mini concept store". Ama lo vintage, y todo lo que tenga historia detrás. Su época favorita es la década de los 60's y sus divas cinematográficas. Es fan de "chacharear" en mercados, los colores claros y pasteles, y el blanco y el beige. "Perth" de Bon Iver es su canción favorita y lo que más la relaja es la música clásica con violines, y más si es en vivo. Ama las quesadillas, el queso Oaxaca, las micheladas y la ropa "over sized". La decoración "country" le encanta, tal vez es porque la equitación ha sido parte esencial en su vida, aunque ya no la practica tan seguido. Ha corrido los maratones de Paris y Berlin, y varios medios maratones y triatlones. Le gustaría escribir un libro, piensa que tal vez se debía de haber dedicado a las relaciones públicas y odia decir que no. Le tiene fobia al piso mojado, no va a ningún lugar sin su cámara y hasta se considera una "fotógrafa frustrada". Sus makeup artists favoritos son Pat Mcgrath y Lucia Peroni. Anne was born in Mexico City in 1990 and now lives in Milan. She recently graduated from a degree in fashion and textile design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Her final project was a collection entitled "Life is a Mirror", which was inspired by the world of reflection, taking mirrors as essential elements. The collection was very popular in Italy, and has already appeared in several magazines. After she left Marangoni, she had the urge to continue working in the field of fashion image, especially in makeup and "fashion hair styling". For Anne, to work on a set creating the visual image of an abstract concept and understanding the inspiration behind it is essential to promote her creativity. Creating hairstyles is "my way of creating sculptures", she says, and make-up is like "working on a painting". Now, she is freelancing and working with photographers and stylists, trying to get her name in the scene. Her goal is to work hard until she has a good book to be able to join one of the big agencies or publishers in the future. She would like to eventually return to Mexico and open an image studio or perhaps open a "mini concept store." She loves vintage, and everything that has  a story behind it. Her favorite time is the late 60's and its movie divas. She loves shopping in markets, light colors and pastels, and white and beige. "Perth" by Bon Iver is her favorite song and she finds music with violins to be very relaxing, specially when it is played live. She is in love with Oaxaca cheese quesadillas,  "over sized" clothing and Micheladas. She likes "country" decor, maybe because horseback riding has been an essential part of her life, although she doesn't ride often any more. She has run the Berlin and Paris marathons, and several half marathons and triathlons. She would like to write a book some day, thinks she should dedicate her time to public relations, and she hates to say no. She hates wet floors, doesn't go anywhere without her camera and she consideres herself a "frustrated photographer." Her favorite makeup artists are Pat McGrath and Lucia Peroni.
