Icono de la Semana: Rubén Castilla

Rubén tiene 23 y nació en Aguascalientes. Está por graduarse de la carrera de Diseño Industrial en el Tec de Monterrey y planea hacer una maestría en escaparatismo. Le encanta la música y escucha de todo, desde Kylie Minogue hasta los Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Es fan del cine, en especial el cine gore y las películas vintage. Ama leer a Stephen King y a Edgar Allan Poe, y es súper fan del terror. Habla solo, es observador, sarcástico, crítico y comprador compulsivo. Se autodenomina "the ultimate fashion victim". Escribe su blog con Rocío, su mejor amiga, desde hace 2 años. En él, ambos documentan su estilo personal, además de escribir sobre las tres cosas que más les gustan: la moda, la música y el cine. El nombre del blog (Costra y Ampolla) proviene de las mascotas de la maestra de psicología que Rubén tenía en preparatoria. Siempre le parecieron unos nombres muy divertidos. Al nombrar el blog decidieron escapar del cliché de nombrar un blog de moda con las palabras "fashion" ó "style". Le divierte mucho bloggear, conectar con personas de todo el mundo que comparten sus intereses, y compartir su estilo y opinión, y tal vez servir como una fuente de inspiración. Ruben is 23 and was born in the Mexican city of Aguascalientes. He is about to graduate from a BA in Industrial Design at Tec de Monterrey, and plans to study a masters in window dressing. He loves music and listens pretty much anything, from Kylie Minogue to the Yeah Yeah Yeah's. He loves movies, specially gore films and vintage cinema. He loves to read Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe, and loves terror. He often speaks to himself, is a keen observer, critical and a compulsive buyer. He describes himself as "the ultimate fashion victim". He has been writing in his blog for the past two years in in coordination with Rocio, his best friend. Through their blog "Costra y Ampolla", they share their interests in fashion, music and movies. The blog name was inspired by the names of two pets owned by his high school psychology teacher. He thought the sum of the names was creative, plus they wanted to escape from the typical fashion blog cliché names that contain the words "fashion" or "style".
