Estuve en Brasil a principios de junio, primero en medio de la selva tropical (en donde la humedad era tal que la ropa se sentía mojada todo el día), y después en Rio de Janeiro. Aquí abajo les comparto una mini selección de fotos que fuí tomando durante el viaje. Estuve la mayoría del tiempo sola, así que casi no salgo en las fotos. En Rio, los barrios que más me gustaron fueron Santa Teresa y Leblón, aunque Lapa también tiene lo suyo. Les recomiendo comer en los restaurantes Sushi Leblon y Gula Gula, ir a bailar samba y tomar caipirinhas en el Carioca da Gema en Lapa y caminar por Santa Teresa. Lo que más me gustó fue la Escuela de Artes Visuales en Parque Lage, ex mansión del empresario Enrique Lage y la cantante de opera Gabriela Bezanzoni. En el barrio de Ipanema también hay muchísimas tiendas, restaurantes y cafés que valen la pena. Les recomiendo entrar a las de las marcas locales como Totem y Osklen.

I was in Brazil in early June, the first half of my trip I spent in the very rainy rainforest (the humidity was such that my clothes felt wet all day), and then in Rio de Janeiro. Below is a mini-selection of photos I took during the trip. I was alone most of the time so I hardly appear in them though. In Rio you should visit Santa Teresa and Leblon, and Lapa has also a cool atmosphere. I recommend eating in the restaurants Sushi Leblon and Gula Gula, dancing samba and drinking caipirinhas at the Carioca da Gema in Lapa, and walking in Santa Teresa. What I probably liked the most was the School of Visual Arts at Parque Lage, former mansion of businessman Enrique Lage and opera singer Gabriela Bezanzoni. In Ipanema there are also many shops, restaurants and cafes that are worthwhile, I specially recommend having a look at local brands like Totem and Osklen.
