Lucía Bosch, nuestra intern por más de dos años se acaba de graduar de la carrera de Diseño Textil y de Moda y le acaban de ofrecer la oportunidad de presentar una colección,junto con otros alumnos de Centro, en Mercedes Benz Fashion Week México en octubre. Tenemos sentimientos encontrados. Primero, estamos tristes (al borde del llanto) porque Lu ya no trabajará para PAAR, pero por otro lado estamos orgullosísimas de que una mexicana tan talentosa haya sido parte de nuestro equipo. Sobre Crow
La colección se inspira en el Glam Rock, género del rock que surgió en los años 70’s en Inglaterra que se caracteriza por excesos estéticos y fuerte carga de identidad sexual que antes era reprimida. David Bowie es el ícono más representativo de este movimiento. El estilo se define por sus cortes futuristas, telas brillantes, lentejuelas, tachuelas, el cuero y los escotes pronunciados. Adicionalmente, Crow también toma elementos inspiracionales en algunas figuras rockeras como Joan Jett, Stevie Nicks y Pat Benatar. Las constantes dentro de la colección son el color negro y los cortes futuristas, los cuales resaltan mayormente los hombros. Además llaman la atención las lentejuelas y la mezcla de texturas, como por ejemplo materiales pesados como la piel o el peluche combinado con telas ligeras como el chiffon.

Lucia Bosch, our intern for more than two years has recently graduated from her Textile and Fashion Design degree and was offered the opportunity to present, in coordination with other students at Centro, a collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Mexico next October. We have mixed feelings. We are very sad (borderline depressed) because Lu will be no longer working for PAAR, but at the same time we feel very proud to have had such a talented young Mexican as part of our team. About Crow
The collection is inspired by Glam Rock, rock genre that emerged in the 70's in England that is characterized by excessive aesthetics and strong sexual identity that was suppressed at the time. David Bowie is the most representative icon of this movement. The style is defined by its futuristic cuts, bright fabrics, sequins, studs, leather and plunging necklines. Additionally, Crow takes inspirational elements from other stars like Joan Jett, Stevie Nicks and Pat Benatar. The constant elements in the collection are black and futuristic cuts, which mainly emphasize the shoulders. Sequins and the mixture of textures, such as heavy materials like leather or plush combined with light as chiffon, are also the collection's highlight.
