Aunque su pasaporte dice que es holandesa, sólo vivió en los Países Bajos los primeros tres meses de su vida. Vivió en Bruselas antes de mudarse a Londres a la edad de 8 años para estudiar en una escuela holandesa en las afueras de Londres, en donde solo había 10 niñas en total. Después regresó a Bruselas para terminar prepa. Después de graduarse se mudó a Bath para estudiar Economía y Desarrollo Internacional. Mientras estudiaba trabajó como Asistente de Proyecto en Adam Smith International, en donde tuvo la oportunidad de hacer trabajo de campo en Sur Sudán. El año pasado trabajó para la consultora internacional GRM en división de Medio Oriente, África del Norte y Asia Sur con sede en Dubai, en donde apoyó algunos programas en Nepal financiados por el Reino Unido. La vida de Suzanne en Dubai fue "muy intensa y aventurera". Para ellla, "Dubai es el centro entre Europa, África y Medio Oriente", y es un lugar perfecto para moverse por todo el mundo. Mientras estuvo en Dubai viajó por Jordania, experimentó algunas de las mejores fiestas en Líbano, fue a bucear en Omán y viajó a Katmandú. El verano pasado se fue de viaje por Laos y Vietnam. Ahora vive en Oxford, en donde estudia la Maestría en Gobernabilidad Global y Diplomacia. Su meta es dedicarse al desarrollo internacional y entender cómo las políticas globales de regulación pueden promover un sector de desarrollo orientado a los resultados y la rendición de cuentas. Además de trabajar, Suzanne ama montar a caballo (el nombre de su caballo es Kamikaze), corrió el medio maratón de Bath hace dos años para recaudar fondos para una fundación de Alzheimer, y le gusta tener gente alrededor todo el tiempo. Lo que más disfruta es un vaso de jugo de naranja y pain au chocolat en la mañana. Tiene un leve crush con Robert Pattinson. Su sueño es viajar por Sudamérica como "El Che" en Diarios de Motocicleta, su película favorita. Quiere experimentar el mundo tanto como sea posible e inspirar a algunas personas a lo largo del camino.

Although her passport says she’s Dutch, she has only lived in the Netherlands the first three months of her life. She lived in Brussels before moving to London at the age of 8. After spending a few years in a Dutch school near London (where there were 10 girls in total) she moved back to Brussels to finish high school. After that, she moved to Bath to study a BSc in Economics and International Development. While studying she worked as Project Assistant at the Government Reform Practice at international advisory firm Adam Smith International, where she had the chance to do fieldwork in South Sudan. Last year she worked for the international development consultancy GRM International in the Middle-East, North-Africa and South-Asia office based in Dubai. Her work focused on providing support to the Nepal Enabling State Programme, a UK-funded initiative. Suzanne says her life in Dubai was “very intense and adventurous”. To her, “Dubai is a perfect hub between Europe, Africa and the Middle East that allows people to move around a lot". While living there she did a road trip through Jordan, experienced some of Lebanon’s greatest parties, went diving in Oman, and travelled to Kathmandu. Last summer she went backpacking through Vietnam and Laos. She now lives in Oxford, where she’s studying an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy. She wants a career in international development and wants to understand how global regulatory policies can promote a results-oriented and accountable development sector. Suzanne enjoys horse-riding (her horse´s name is Kamikaze), she ran the Bath half-marathon two years ago to raise some money for the Alzheimer Foundation, she enjoys having people around, and having a glass of orange juice and pain au chocolat in the morning. She has a slight crush on Robert Pattinson. Her dream is too travel around South America like "El Che" in the Motorcycle Diaries - her favorite movie. She wants to experience the world as much as possible, and hopefully inspire some people along the way.
