Operahuset

El lunes en la tarde regresé de Noruega y mi última parada antes de subirme al tren hacia el aeropuerto fue en la Operahuset, la Ópera de Oslo. El edificio es una locura: lo diseñó Snøhetta, la firma arquitectónica más importante de Noruega, que también tiene oficinas en Nueva York. Mi parte favorita de esta joya arquitectónica está justo en la parte de atrás y es la que aparece en la primera foto: una escultura de vidrio construída en medio del mar. Tuve mucha suerte porque ese día nevó toda la mañana la nieve, el mar y el edificio principal estaban cubiertos de nieve, justo como los arquitectos imaginaron el proyecto. Impresionante. Las demás fotos las tomé en el este de Oslo. Hasta ahora, estas son mis fotos favoritas! El sweater y la blusa son BikBok y el collar es PAAR. -Paulina.

I returned from Norway on Monday afternoon. My last stop before catching the train to the airport was the Operahuset, the Oslo Opera. The building is crazy: it was designed by Snøhetta, the largest architecture firm in Norway, which also has offices in New York. My favorite section of this architectural masterpiece was the one shown in the first picture: a glass sculpture built right in the middle of the sea. I was really lucky because it snowed a lot that day and the sea and the main building were completely covered in snow, just as the architects probably envisioned it. It was really impressive. I took the other photos in eastern Oslo. So far, I think these are my favorite photos of the year! The sweater and blouse are BikBok and the necklace is PAAR. -Paulina.
