Mara Hoffman launched her fashion line in 2000 after studying hard at Parsons School of Design in New York City and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. After Alexander Wang's collection, Mara Hoffman's was my second favorite one from NYFW SS'14. I guess all the ethnic patterns remind me of home. Its nice to walk away from all the black and white that characterized a lot of the collections, and enjoy a bit of elegant color. These are my favorite pieces:

Mara Hoffman lanzo su línea en el año 2000, después de estudiar en Parsons School of Design en Nueva York y Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. La colección de Mara Hoffman es mi segunda favorita después de la de Alexander Wang. Creo que los patrones étnicos me recordaron mucho a México, y después de todo el blanco y negro que caracterizó muchas de las colecciones de primavera-verano 2014 en New York Fashion Week, un poco de color y alegría no hacen daño.
