Icono de la Semana: Madeleine de la Re

Madeleine is a young graphic designer who studied at the University of Monterrey. She was born and raised in Hermosillo, Sonora, where it is warm and there is very little water. She really enjoys traveling, shopping, reading blogs, partying, and, most importantly - collecting beautiful Jeffrey Campbell shoes. When in Hermosillo, she loves to go to San Carlos, the nearest beach to sunbathe, relax and listen to good music. Madeleine defines her style as "very eclectic" because she loves to mix and match a little bit of everything. Besides having a thousand hobbies, she is also a Mexican entrepreneur who owns her own jewelry brand along with her sister. Both are in charge of all designs. One of the best experiences she has ever lived was moving to Austria for a semester, where she studying business and learned a lot about marketing and how to work hard to create a company. Her favorite city will always be New York because "it is a city where you can find it all, people are very different from one another - I love New York's colors and good vibes."

Madeleine es diseñadora gráfica y estudio en la Universidad de Monterrey. Nació y creció en Hermosillo, Sonora, en donde hace calor y hay poca agua. Le gusta viajar, ir de compras, leer blogs, salir de fiesta, coleccionar zapatos Jeffrey Campbell. Cuando está en Hermosillo, le encanta ir a San Carlos, la playa más cercana, para tomar el sol, descansar y escuchar buena música. Madeleine define su estilo como “muy ecléctico” ya que le gusta mezclar de todo un poco. Además de tener mil hobbies, es una emprendedora mexicana que tiene su propia marca de joyería junto con su hermana. Ambas están a cargo de todos los diseños. Una de las mejores experiencias que ha vivido ha sido estudiar negocios durante un semestre en Austria, en donde aprendió mucho sobre marketing y sobre cómo trabajar duro en crear una empresa. Su ciudad favorita es Nueva York porque “siente que en esa ciudad se puede encontrar de todo, la gente es muy diferente una de la otra y me encanta su colorido y buena vibra.”
