The Return of the Earrings

The past few years in the accessories scene have been dominated by flashy chunky necklaces, leaving little room for statement earrings - or earrings at all. I, for example, always travel with bracelets and necklaces, but I rarelly take different earrings with me. Although I usually stick to big pearls, I think I will get out of my comfort zone and start experimenting with earrings again. Plus, big necklaces, although lovely, you can only wear them a few times before they become too noticeable. Earrings are much more adaptable - you can mix and match them with casual looks or really elegant outfits. Los últimos años en la escena de los accesorios han sido dominada por collares gruesos y llamativos, dejando poco espacio para aretes grandes - o aretes en lo absoluto. Yo, por ejemplo, siempre viajo con diferentes pulseras y collares, pero raramente me llevo diferentes aretes. Normalmente llevo perlas grandes porque combinan con todo, pero croe que voy a salir de mi zona de confort y voy a empezar a experimentar con aretes grandes otra vez. Además, los collares demasiado llamativos, aunque son increíbles, sólo te los puedes poner pocas veces. Los aretes son mucho más adaptables - se pueden combinar con un look súper casual o con un look elegante para una boda.
