Alice is a 24 year old actress from London. She grew up being obsessed with films, and dressing up, but when it came to her three years of training at The Oxford School of Drama, she spent most of her evenings blogging, and not learning her lines. She started Alice in Wardrobe Wonderland in 2009, after a month of interning at Vogue.com. She assisted Editor in Chief, Dolly Jones, during New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks, and even got to sit front row of a show. After her time with Dolly was done, she felt so inspired by everything she'd seen, that she started the blog. She says that Wonderland is in no way a style blog, but more of a place to celebrate photoshoots, films and magazine spreads from the past. As if posting photographs on Wonderland wasn't enough, she then jumped on the tumblr-wagon, and created BUTTER -more of a stream of consciousness of hers made up of film stills, videos, street style snaps, and a lot of Kate Moss. She is equally inspired by films as she is fashion, and her current obsession is Jessica Chastain. "I fell in love with her after watching Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life, and within the first five minutes she was crying her eyes out. If somebody can cry on cue then I'm like putty in their hands - how do they do it?! I then read an article about her that described her as having 'a stretched-out nose', and I thought 'Phew! Big noses ARE cool'. I just think she’s got a huge range, makes the right decisions, and she just makes me want to act. That's important to me because a lot of things can make you not want to. You need something to keep reminding you why you need to work hard, and why you wanted to be an actor in the first place, because you get knocked down a lot". Alice now spends her time blogging, seeing friends, and acting as much as she can. Sadly, though, being a struggling actor doesn't pay enough for her to live the lifestyle she posts about in her blogs, but she says it's never been about the flashiness of the photographs she chooses. "It's all about their playfulness, the childish quality of loving a 'pretty' photograph, and wanting to share it with others. I have all of these images saved onto my laptop (so my laptop is always about to burst) and I think what better way to share them than on a blog?” she says. "Wonderland is a blog for people who love fashion and films in the same way I do. I'm obsessed with cinema, and how powerful one frame or still can be, and I like it when that aspect can seep into the fashion industry, as well. Just one image can inspire me for the day. It's a simple blog with a simple premise, but I'd like to think it puts a smile on people's faces each day."

Su obsesión actual es Jessica Chastain, "Me enamoré de ella después de ver El árbol de la vida de Terrence Malick, en donde llora dramáticamente en los primeros cinco minutos de la película. Si alguien puede llorar así, me convierto en su fan en ese segundo. ¿Cómo le hacen? Luego leí un artículo sobre ella en donde describe que tiene una nariz estirada, y pensé 'uff! Las narices grandes SON cool'.” A Alice, Jessica le regresa las ganas de actuar y de tomar las decisiones correctas. También le recuerda que hay que trabajar duro, aun cuando el medio de la actuación tenga sus momentos poco motivantes. Alice ahora dedica su tiempo a sus blogs, pasando tiempo con sus amigos, y actuando cuando le es posible. Tristemente, la vida como actriz emergente no le da lo suficiente para vivir el estilo de vida que muestran las fotografías que comparte en sus blogs - "Esas fotos reflejan alegría, y hay que tomarlas como son. Hay que tener la capacidad de amar una bonita fotografía y compartirla con otros. Guardo todas estas fotografías en mi laptop de todas formas, así que, que mejor manera que compartirlas en un blog", nos dice. “Wonderland es un blog para los amantes de la moda y las películas de la misma manera que lo hago. Estoy obsesionada con el cine, con lo poderoso que un cuadro puede ser, y me gusta cuando ese aspecto puede filtrarse en la industria de la moda también. Sólo una imagen puede inspirar mi día. Mi blog es un simple blog con una simple premisa, pero me gustaría pensar que le saca una sonrisa a las personas".
