Teaching Gonzalez some Manners

Strolls with "Gonzalez", my dog, are always an adventure. The last time I took him for a walk he got into a fight with a huge Bernese. To cut a long story short - let's say my dog's alpha traits and his instinct to protect us are a bit counterproductive when one is trying to have a chilled afternoon. Last Sunday, my brother and I took Gonzalez for a walk after a nice family lunch at La Roma, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Mexico City. My brother took a few photos while I tried to teach Gonzalez the basic manners every hipster dog should show when strolling at the Rio de Janeiro park. I am wearing a vintage leather jacket, H&M jeans, TopShop sneakers and a PAAR "Patrick" necklace (available here).

Sacar a pasear a mi perro "Gonzalez" siempre es un caos. La última vez que lo saque a pasear se peleó con un Bernés, un perro del doble de tamaño que nuestro Border Collie. Gonzalez es un perro "alfa" y su instinto por protegernos es a veces contraproducente. Después de comer, el domingo pasado mi hermano y yo lo llevamos a pasear a la Roma, una de mis zonas favoritas en el DF. Mi hermano tomó algunas fotos mientras yo le ensenaba a Gonzalez algunas de las reglas básicas de convivencia que todo perro hipster que pasea por el Parque Río de Janeiro debe tener.
