I had a fever all night last night. Maybe it was because one of my friends left Oxford today and moved to Italy, or because work is so hectic right now and my body is defaulting, or because I need a holiday, or because my body is reacting to two vaccines I had last week, or a combination of all of the above. When your body needs to rest and you don't listen to it it recurs to sickness to forcefully make you go to bed.

Ayer en la noche tuve fiebre. Tal vez fue porque una de mis amigas se fue a vivir a Italia, o porque tengo muchísimo trabajo, o porque necesito vacaciones, o porque mi cuerpo está reaccionando a dos vacunas que me pusieron la semana pasada, o una combinación de todo lo anterior. Lo cierto es que a veces el cuerpo necesita descansar y a veces la única manera de obligarnos a dormir es enfermándonos.
