Lorena Okhuysen Boehm is Mexican, although her two last names may indicate differently. She was born and raised in Mexico City as the youngest girl of three children. Although she and her siblings don't really look alike and have very little in common personality-wise, they get along great. Being the only girl among men made her a bit of a tomboy - she used to steal toys from her brothers and hide under her bed to play with them when no one was looking. She loves to travel, speaks Spanish, English and German, she studied engineering in sustainable development, and she is also a model. Although studying is her priority, she is making the most of her modeling career because she knows that it will be the one that will probably last the shortest. A year and half ago she spent six months modeling in Los Angeles, New York, London and Milan, and she will soon go to Paris to work with a really good agency. What she enjoys the most about modeling is meeting new and interesting people, and helping position Mexico as a hub for talent. As for Mexican fashion, she loves the designs of Ale Quesada, Cihuah and Yakampot. "Fashion is not as it is portrayed in magazines, the final photos don't really show all the clips attached to the clothes behind your back holding the look together" says Lorena. As for life: she struggles to balance work, school, exercise, family and friends, so y balance school , work, exercise, family and friends, which is why she is always running around. She loves gin, good food, indie music, and black humor.

Lorena Okhuysen Boehm es mexicana, aunque los apellidos indiquen diferente. Nació y creció en el DF y es la más chica y la única mujer, de tres hijos. Aunque sus hermanos y ella no se parecen mucho físicamente ni en personalidad, se llevan muy bien. El ser la única niña entre hombres la volvió un poco "tomboy" - se robaba los juguetes de sus hermanos cuando no se los prestaban y los escondía abajo de su cama para jugar a escondidas con ellos. Le encanta viajar. Habla español, alemán e inglés, y estudió ingeniería en desarrollo sustentable. También es modelo. Aunque el estudio es su prioridad, está aprovechando lo más posible a su carrera como modelo, ya que esa dura menos que la otra. Hace un año y medio se fue seis meses a modelar a Los Ángeles, Nueva York, Londres y Milán. Pronto se irá a Paris para trabajar con una muy buena agencia. Lo que más le gusta de modelar es conocer a gente nueva e interesante, y poner el nombre de México en alto. En cuanto a moda mexicana, es fanática de los diseños de Ale Quesada, Cihuah y Yakampot. "La moda no es tan rosa y bonita como la pintan las revistas, muchas veces en las fotos finales no se ven todas las pinzas que usan los stylists en las modelos para que el resultado sea perfecto", nos platica Lorena. En cuanto a su vida personal, le cuesta un poco de trabajo balancear la escuela, el trabajo, ejercicio, familia y amigos, y siempre está corriendo de un lado al otro para poder cumplir con todo. Le encanta el gin, la buena comida, la música indie, y el humor negro.
