About a month and a half ago I wrote a goodbye post to my friend Tiny, who left the UK in search of inspiration, and in search of an Antwerp-based artist. Now its Laura's turn to leave the UK to start a new life in Maranello, Italy. With so many friends leaving and Oxford starting to change so much again, I can't help but think about my own change, and whether I should be looking for new adventures somewhere else. Life has been so busy lately that I haven't really had time to sit down and think about me, and how I want my next few years to look like. Perhaps that should be my summer goal. So, next in my to-do-list is booking a ticket to Italy to see Laura, so that she can help me figure out my life, as she always did when she was here. These photos were taken on my way to meet Lau to wish her good luck. It's tough to envision my life in Oxford without Lau, who has been my anchor for the past three years, my drinking-Tuesday buddy, and the funnest half-Colombian, half-Mexican I've ever met.

Hace como mes y medio le escribí un post de despedida a Tiny, quien se mudó de Inglaterra para perseguir a su artista favorito. Ahora le toca a Laura irse, se muda a Maranello en Italia, para empezar una nueva vida junto a Juanito. Con tantos amigos que se van y tantos cambios, no me ha quedado más que pensar en cambios a mi también. Los últimos meses han estado súper ocupados y no me ha dado casi nada de tiempo de sentarme a pensar en mí, y en cómo quiero pasar los siguientes años, así que he decidido que este verano voy a decidir qué hacer. Mi prioridad es comprar un boleto a Italia para ir a ver a Laura, la persona perfecta para ayudar a poner mi vida en orden. Estas fotos las tomé justo cuando iba en camino a despedirme de Lau. Me cuesta trabajo pensar en cómo va a ser mi vida en Oxford sin ella, mi colombiana-mexicana favorita de los martes de drinks y mi ancla los últimos tres años!
