The Secret Supper Society

The day before I left for New York back in September (remember?) my boyfriend took me on a surprise date to celebrate our anniversary. We drove for about 40 min to a place in the middle of the English countryside and arrived to a beautiful cottage where a cheerful family welcomed us to their home and sat us in a special table for two set in their dining room. The Secret Supper Society was founded by Jules, chef and entrepreneur, to offer high quality food in a relaxed environment. Jules welcomes about 50 guests to her home every weekend and offers them the most delicious and impecably-presented food. She sources all her ingredients localy (some are even grown in her back yard!) which results in delicious and healthy dishes. I loved this experience and would totally recommend it to anyone who is as much of a foodie as I am. To book, have look at her website here. La noche antes de irme a Nueva York en septiembre (se acuerdan?), mi novio me llevo en un date sorpresa para celebrar nuestro aniversario. Manejamos 40 minutos hasta llegar a una casa típica de la campiña inglesa, en donde una familia nos recibió con una mesa para dos en su comedor. La "Secret Supper Society" fue fundada por Jules, una chef y entrepreneur inglesa, quien recibe a mas de 50 invitados en su casa los fines de semana en su propia casa para ofrecerles deliciosa comida. Todos los ingredientes son locales (algunos los siembra en su jardín!), lo que hace que cada platillo sea delicioso. Se me hizo una experiencia increíble y se la recomendaría muchísimo a cualquier persona que sea tan fanática de la comida como yo. Si están en Inglaterra pronto y les interesa visitar a Jules, no se les olvide reservar aqui. Ese día me puse una t-shirt de encaje de Zara y unos aretes Clementine de PAAR (disponibles en tiendas).
