La Roma is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Mexico City. Gentrification has resulted in the emergence of interesting spots like bars, boutiques, galleries and restaurants, but the best part is the unbelievable restoration of old, beautiful buildings everywhere. Life here moves fast but slow at the same time - it is possible to walk and cycle, yet everything you need is within reach. It kind of feels like a bubble in the middle of this 25 million people city... Last week I visited Ari in her new and really cool flat, and we shot a few cool photos in the neighborhood. I am wearing one of PAAR's new releases: the gold choker. (available here).

La Roma es uno de mis barrios favoritos de la Ciudad de Mexico. La gentrificación ha traído lugares interesantes como bares, galerías, boutiques y restaurantes, pero lo mejor es la restauración de viejos edificios en la zona. La vida ahí se vive lenta, pero al mismo tiempo rápida - es posible andar en bici y caminar a todos lados, y todo lo que uno necesita se encuentra a la mano. Se siente un poco como una burbuja de paz en medio de esta locura de ciudad en donde habitan 25 millones de personas... La semana pasada visite a Ari en su nuevo e increíble departamento en La Roma y aprovechamos para tomar algunas fotos por ahí cerca. Estoy usando la nueva gargantilla dorada de PAAR (disponible aquí).
